Explore Seattle!
Seattle is anything but ordinary.
It's a city where the extraordinary is commonplace and commonplace is anything but. And if you look closely, you just might discover that in Seattle there are amazing things happening all around you.
Picture It
From a jet engine to an espresso machine to grunge rock, Seattle's world-changing events have all had a distinct sound. But the symphony doesn't end there. Your visit to Seattle may bring you the sound of an orca blowing as it surfaces, the roar of the crowd at Safeco Field or the near silence of the Olympic rainforest. Come to Seattle and hear for yourself. The hostel is located in Seattle’s International District, where you will find great food, friendly people, and lots of history. Take a tour of our neighborhood from a local guide and explore the culture and history of the Pan-Asian Pacific American community.
Learn about the history of Seattle while you meander through the underground passages that were once Seattle’s streets in the mid-1800’s. Then head on over to Seattle’s famous Pike Place Market to eat locally grown food, watch the fish fly, and experience the hustle and bustle as you stroll through the 500 plus shops that make our market unique. Grab your walking shoes and head over to Gas Works Park for excellent views of the Space Needle, Seattle’s city skyline, and Lake Union (home of Tom Hank’s Sleepless in the Seattle boat house). Afterwards walk along the water to find the Fremont Troll hiding under the Aurora Bridge.
