Sequoia National Park Multi- Sport Adventure
“Oh Beautiful for Spacious Skies, For Purple Mountains Majesty”
If there was ever a place for which these lines were written, it would be in Sequoia National Park in the Sierra Nevada Mountains….come explore with us!
Picture It
Tall Sequoia Trees, lush mountain meadows, alpine lakes and starry skies abound! Sequoia National Park is home to the largest trees on the planet. The Giant Sequoias create a truly unique environment to adventure in. During this mountain adventure, you and seventeen other Girl Scouts will explore leadership, communication and team building skills working and living together in the outdoors.
We'll spend a day rock climbing outside the park before we venture into the vast wilderness. We'll see Giant Sequoia's, including the General Sherman Tree (the world's largest tree!), do an overnight backpack trip to see beautiful granite vistas and high Sierra lakes, explore Crystal Cave, and witness the vast beauty of this amazing place. Experience trails that have been traveled by many adventurers over the past 150 years, including named favorite John Muir. This is where he found his peace and no doubt where you will find yours!
