Discover pristine nature via the seat of a kayak.
Picture It
During our peaceful journey of searching for orcas, island camping and kayaking crystal clear water, you and 23 other Girl Scouts will explore your leadership, communication and team building skills working and living together in the outdoors.
Uncover some of the most beautiful places in the Puget Sound, WA. The San Juan Islands are home to the Orcas during the months of May-Sept. Visit tide-pools, hike and observe the abundant species of wild-life. Sleep under the stars in places only accessible by kayaks.
Kayak-Packing is a term used to describe the exploration of islands or river estuaries via kayaks, carrying our equipment with us. Similar to back-packing, this activity involves all its participants in a series of problem solving initiatives throughout the time the group is together. During your 7 day journey, a lot will be expected of your team, and what better place to do this than one of the top 5 most beautiful island chains on the planet.
